Luxury Waterfront Hotel Miami Beach

The historic and iconic Raleigh Hotel in Miami has been earning accolades since Life magazine dubbed their pool the most beautiful in America in 1947. Today, the four-pearl Art Deco hotel still gets its fair share of praise and often hosts fashion shoots and parties by the pool. Renovations brought a contemporary restaurant, upgrades to the iconic Martini Bar, and a European-style coffee shop. Scenesters love free vintage bikes and a pop-up design boutique — plus private access to South Beach, but nobody appreciates the small rooms and daily resort fees. The Raleigh still holds its own, but the scene at neighboring Delano and Shore Club gives it a real run for its money — and press.

I went to a pool party but it must have been poorly advertised because there were no people really. It also took a while to get our towels but that is my only complaint. The facility itself is gorgeous, the pool was pretty and it had a nice atmosphere
Hidden inside The Raleigh Hotel, the Martini Bar has been a Miami staple for more than 70 years. The old-school mahogany bar (backdropped with every bottle imaginable) is staffed with some of the city’s best bartenders, who specialize in cocktails made with super fresh ingredients, like the Russian Spring Punch, a vodka drink made with raspberries and lemon juice syrup, or the Never Say Never, a rum drink with strawberry, mint, and basil. Needless to say, an extra-dirty martini is still the order of choice.

Welp, can’t say much about the actual hotel since I’ve only been here for Miami Music Week pool parties. So this review is based solely on that. They get 5 stars alone just for hosting the Queen of techno, Nicole Moudaber, year after year for her Mood Day pool party. The atmosphere is really nice and really Miami. Palm trees along the pool, which is really nice and big in its own right. The area is very spacious, and they organize it well by having the stage far up enough so the people there aren’t clashing with the ones who are just chilling by the pool.

The public bathroom is underwhelming though, especially for a hotel of this magnitude. I assume the one indoors for paying/staying customers is nicer. I’ll be cool and not deduct a star for that.
